Since 2009, Gama Medical Center has provided a breadth of health, medical and pharmacy services in the community. From Family Medicine, Walk-In, Minor Emergencies to lab services, pharmacy, and X-ray, we are continuously looking to evolve and innovate.

DID YOU KNOW? Buildings generate nearly 30% of all greenhouse gases, and 35% of landfill waste, while consuming up to 70% of municipal water.
A healthy indoor environment with clean air and access to daylight makes a big impact on well-being of everyone that enters the building. This spacious 12,000 square ft. facility was carefully designed to ensure a feeling of wellness and reduce our ecological footprint, using less and wasting less. Gama Medical Center investment in innovative holistic solutions infuses a sense of rejuvenation, renewal and respect for all who work there and come for healing.

Vision for Team-based Healthcare
Our current health care system is experiencing high demands with limited resources. As such, it has forced us to accelerate the evaluation of what constitutes health and how it is delivered more holistically, efficiently and effectively. Family physicians, physiotherapists, nurse practitioners, mental health workers, social workers, and child health workers are emerging areas of specialization. To optimize the health of your body, mind and soul, it requires a team-based approach. While health professional training has already adopted these principles, family medicine clinics are just beginning to evolve.
We are working with stakeholders within the broader health care system to advance the concept of team-based models of family medicine. We recognize health care professionals’ training are multi-disciplinary and this model delivers better patient outcomes and more satisfaction for those receiving and delivering care. It helps to achieve a work-life balance to manage the stress that invariably comes with the practice of medicine.
